The word "gorgeous" is an adjective. It's very similar to the word "beautiful." You can use "gorgeous" for people or things, but don't use this word too often. The thing that you describe must truly be beautiful.

  • She's gorgeous.
  • What a gorgeous day! (The weather is nice.)
  • They live in a gorgeous house.
  • Those roses are gorgeous.
  • There were a lot of gorgeous women at the party.
